Meals: Good quality Moroccan dishes. We quote for half board but lunches or picnics are available at very reasonable prices.
Activities: Excursions to the dunes by camel or 4x4, with options of overnight stay in standard or luxury nomads' tents. One day trek with camels (walk or ride): departure around 9 a.m. to a small oasis where you will have lunch, return to the hotel after sunset in the sand dunes. For the more adventurous, camel treks of up to seven days' length may be arranged. As well as trips to the sand dunes, we recommend you visit the Marmar marble works near Erfoud, where a superb black fossiliferous rock is polished and sold. Bird-watchers will enjoy this area, especially the lake Serji, when it has water (usually in the winter).

4x4 Excursions
Apart from camel trips we also organize 4x4 trips to see sunrise or sunset, a1/2 day tour of the dunes or a full day trip in the desert with a driver guide ;this allow you to drive deep into the desert and met local Bedouin community and nomads from different tribes that keeps the secrets and the wisdom of the desert
ATV Quad & Buggy Excursions
Merzougadesert offers excursions by Quad ; Buggy; 4x4 and Dromedaries. Whether with friends, family or as a couple, half-day or full-day, beginners or experienced, you will certainly find a course that suits you! You will appreciate the visit of the oasis of Merzouga; the lake serji; the crossing of the dunes of erg chebbi and drive deep into the desert and met local Bedouin community and nomads from different tribes that keeps the secrets and the wisdom of the desert. For those who are more stingy with sensations, you will appreciate the weirs on your way!
MerzougaDesert Rentals is located in Merzouga; have an office in Ksarbicha hotel, so it’s easy to reach us no matter where you stay. We have a wide range of quadbikes, off-road buggies, 4x4 and minibus.
The rental day is 9:00 – 17:00 (for longer rentals you can keep the bikes overnight if you have safe parking.)
License is required: for quads and buggies you will need a category for car (B in most countries).
All quads and buggies are for Merzouga desert area only (40km radius). Bigger motorbikes can be taken further – please inform us and consult us before renting.
Transfer within Merzouga can be arranged upon request ; we can provides professional services in airport transfers between (Marrakech , Errachidia,Ouarzazate,Fes) and Merzouga desert. Journeys to other cities in the great south of Morocco.
